Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to explore the supervision needs of psychodrama supervisors. 8 psychodrama supervisors were sampled and interviewed in depth. The final 91 statements were extracted from 229 statements of 145 pages of transferring materials for this group. As a result, eight categories corresponding to 2 dimensions were created. The eight categories were labeled as ‘cultivating of integrated special capacity’, ‘performing of reflection supervision’, ‘achieving of separation individualization task’, ‘setting of desirable supervisor image’, ‘developing of supervisor identity’, ‘accepting of self-limitation and role expecting of ideal supervisor’, ‘equipping of supervision focus and transmission technique’, and ‘checking of supervisee's basic qualification’. The significance of the study is that the psychodrama supervisor's development experience analyzed the supervision needs. This paper discusses the limitations of the research and suggests a follow-up study on the supervision needs analysis of supervisee.
